Gary D. Kane, CPA/ABV, CVA, MSA

Gary Kane is owner and managing partner of Kane & Associates, and a licensed CPA in the state of Florida. His primary responsibilities include the planning and utilization of personnel, budgeting, cash flow management, and overall firm marketing. Mr. Kane has been responsible for the supervision, planning, and review responsibilities for all tax preparation and planning functions within the firm. He performs the final, technical review of all audit and review engagements.
Mr. Kane has lectured widely on various aspects of income and estate planning and personal financial planning. He has appeared on several local television shows and has appeared on a national cable television program broadcast on the Satellite Program Network. With his background in tax and financial planning, Mr. Kane has been instrumental in assisting clients in the formation, implementation, and management of several real estate ventures, beginning with the planning stage through the completion and ultimate management or sale.
Mr. Kane received his BSBA with honors with a major in accounting from the University of Florida and has a Masters of Science in Accountancy from the University of Central Florida. He has thirty-one years of public accounting experience consisting of four years with the international accounting firm of Alexander Grant (Orlando, Florida) and twenty-seven years as a partner in Kane & Associates of Winter Park, Florida. Mr. Kane was also an accountant with Chevron Oil Company in charge of fixed asset accounting for all oil and gas properties in Louisiana, Mississippi, Florida and Alabama.
Mr. Kane is a member of the American and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and has satisfied the requirements to be accredited in Business Valuation by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Kane is a Certified Valuation Analyst and member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. He is past president of the Central Florida Chapter of the International Association for Financial Planning and has served as Chairman of its Board of Directors.
Mr. Kane has been an adjunct professor at the University of Central Florida teaching intermediate accounting and has assisted the Small Business Development Center at the University of Central Florida in lectures on business acquisition and accounting systems for small businesses. Mr. Kane assists attorneys in numerous areas, including tax planning, litigation, and divorce settlements. He has testified over the past fifteen years as an expert witness in Orange, Seminole, and Volusia counties.

Christy T. Henns, CPA, CVA, MBA

Christy Henns has worked in the tax department of Kane & Associates for twenty years and is a licensed CPA in the state of Florida. Her primary responsibilities include tax planning, preparing and reviewing tax returns, and supervising our client accounting services. Ms. Henns is also Kane & Associate's computer network administator. Her experience includes working as Controller at The Kirchman Corporation in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
Ms. Henns received her BA at Rollins College with combined majors in Accounting and Economics. She received her Master of Business Administration degree at the University of Central Florida. Ms. Henns has satisfied the requirements to be a Certified Valuation Analyst. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. She is active in the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce, serving on the Winter Park Autumn Art Festival committee. She is a graduate of Leadership Winter Park Class VII. Ms. Henns has also served on the Advisory Board of the Heart of Florida United Way - Winter Park.

Joan C. Schlottmann, CPA

Ms. Schlottmann is the audit manager for Kane & Associates. Her primary responsibilties include planning, budgeting, and supervising all audit and review engagements. She is responsible for the firm's compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and generally accepted auditing standards.
Ms. Schlottmann received her BS with honors with a major in accounting from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She has twenty-four years of experience as a certified public accountant. Her experience includes auditing with the international accounting firms of Price Waterhouse & Co. (currently PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP) and Touche Ross & Co. (currently Deloitte & Touche LLP).
Ms. Schlottmann is licensed as a CPA in the state of Florida. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and past president of the American Society of Women Accountants.

Sandy L. Giglietta

Sandy Giglietta has been a staff accountant at Kane & Associates for twenty-two years, after beginning as a secretary at Kane & Associates twenty-five years ago. Ms. Giglietta's responsibilities include preparing compiled financial statements, corporate tax returns, and payroll and sales tax returns. Her duties require her to be knowledgable concerning the latest compliance requirements for making payroll tax deposits.
Ms. Giglietta is active in the community, and is especially involved in volunteering for the Boy Scouts of America.

Dona Conlon has been a staff accountant at Kane & Associates for fifteen years. Her responsibilities include preparing individual and corporate tax returns, preparing compiled financial statements, and payroll and sales tax returns.

Deborah Parrott has been on the staff at Kane & Associates for the past three years. Her responsiblities include preparing individual and corporate tax returns, preparing compiled financial statements, and reviewing tax returns. She has over nineteen years of experience in public accounting. Her experience includes auditing with the international accounting firm of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. (currently KPMG, LLP).
Ms. Parrott is a licensed CPA in the state of Florida. She received her BS with a major in accounting from the University of Central Florida.
